I bought a knit wrap dress a couple of years ago and LOVED it! The silhouette is so flattering and the knit fabric is very comfortable. Plus its the perfect dress for traveling- you can just throw it in your suitcase and pull it out with no wrinkles. So, when I started sewing, I wanted to make to make myself some.
After researching online, I found the Vogue 8379 pattern, shown at right. A lot of patterns were faux wrap dresses, which I did not want. I had to search a little to find exactly what I wanted.
Here is my version of the short sleeve view on the right. Its made in a red and cream paisley knit fabric. I can not say enough complimentary things about this dress pattern.
