Hello!

My name is Sam and this is my blog about sewing and fashion. I grew up in a family of women that sewed. As a teenager, I dabbled in sewing - took home ec in school, made a few pieces of clothing. Then, as it tends to do, life happens and I gave up sewing when I got busier with work, etc.

Last summer, I decided to take it back up again because my sister needed a costume for an event at her church. I found that I really enjoyed it, much more than when I was young. Things have just escalated from there and its become almost an addiction.

So, this is my jumping-off point. I will post about the projects that I've already completed so you can see them, current and future projects as well as other sewing/fashion topics. Thanks for reading!
