Simplicity 4273

One of the first two outfits that I made was with the pattern Simplicity 4273. I made the dress, jacket and skirt. One was in a tan and burgundy color scheme, shown below. I made the dress out of the printed fabric and the jacket and skirt

out of the burgundy fabric.

I made the same outfit again in a bright spring green and pale blue color scheme. Here is a pic of the dress and jacket. I know, right, its amazing how much I look like the model on the pattern! On this go round, I decided to jazz up the pocket by adding some trim made out of the printed dress fabric. I also found some pretty flower buttons that just matched the blue of the jacket. Here are detailed pics.

I think both outfits turned out pretty well for some of my first projects.
